Our story begins on a small farm in Taiwan, where Sonia’s family adopted 11 abandoned dogs. While growing up with so many dogs, Sonia saw that they would be cold and shiver in the winter. So she and her brother used old t-shirts and re-sewed them into clothing for dogs. That was a time when pet clothing didn't even exist. Now that there is clothing of all shapes and sizes for dogs to wear, they can travel with more ease and live in a variety of climates. Dogs are not only dressed for warmth, but for fashion too!

A person’s relationship with a pet can best be described as that between a parent and child. One provides nurturing care, and the other provides joy and fulfillment in return. Sonia founded Didi Dog Pet Boutique, which is named after her beloved dog, Didi, who died in 2005. We’re located at 160 Water St, Brooklyn, NY, 11201-1017.

She designs and re-designs many items for safety and function too.
